Home & Community Support

Unhappy with the daily life support that you are receiving?

How are you support workers? We are sure that they are good people doing their best, but have they been specifically trained to work with clients with a complex array of physical challenges? Are they dedicated not just to helping you get about the place, or are they working with you to identify your goals and go out and achieve them?

After years of being grateful for well-meaning support workers, Liam suddenly realised that he was worth so much more, that his life could be so much more.

Ability2Connect support workers know how to help you help yourself.  They are committed to working with our client’s passion to assist them as to identity and explore their goals, challenge their belief systems and support them to seek out their best life.

Our support workers are trained to provide:

  • Personal Care (e.g. showering, toileting, dressing or mealtime assistance)
  • In-home care (e.g. help with morning/evening routines, medical prompts or meal preparation)
  • Community Access (e.g. support to get out to do recreational activities, attend events/gatherings or attend appointments)
  • Therapy assistance (e.g. provide assistance in therapy sessions or assist with therapy needs outside sessions)
  • Tutoring and mentoring (e.g. provide assistance with homework)
  • Improved daily living skills (e.g. assist with improving on current daily living skills)
  • Life skills development (e.g. teach a new skill)
