My name is Liam Goldfinch, the passionate founder of Ability2Connect, which I brought to life in 2019, with support from the Federal government’s NEIS scheme. Living with Cerebral Palsy myself I started this journey not just to carve out a path for my own professional independence, after facing countless employment rejections, but also to give back to a community that has stood by me, helping me reach where I am today.

Frustrated by the inefficiencies and lack of empathy I encountered with traditional NDIS providers, I decided to take control. Coming from a system where the government once managed my support, I eagerly embraced the NDIS, seizing full control over my services and supports. This shift not only saved me thousands of dollars but also allowed me to tailor my care to my exact needs.

Knowing my needs better than anyone, I’ve handpicked and trained a team of support workers dedicated to helping me achieve the best quality of life. My journey didn’t stop there; I recently completed The Growing Space’s Support Coordination Certification, deepening my expertise in NDIS Plan Review, management, and coordination. Now, I extend my role to include support worker and mentor, drawing on my 27 years of lived experience to guide others through the complexities of Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury, and speech challenges.
